Injectable fillers, also known as dermal fillers, can be used to plump up lips, smooth wrinkles, and fill tear troughs around the eyes. They can help improve the look of pitted acne scars and give volume to the cheekbones. Some people even opt for injectable fillers for a nonsurgical nose job. Fillers can be made of collagen, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, polymethyl methacrylate, or fat harvested from your own body. Hyaluronic acid is the most popular FDA-approved filler ingredient, but fillers can also be made of collagen, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, polymethyl methacrylate, or fat harvested from your own body.

Juvéderm Volbella XC provides modest volume and smooths vertical lip wrinkles, For up to a year,  Juvéderm Voluma XC is a cheek filler that lasts up to two years. Juvéderm Vollure XC is a dermal filler that softens nasolabial creases and lasts up to 18 months. Restylane fillers are also divided into different products that target specific areas for treatment. It may require a few days more to take effect when compared to Juvéderm.  Restylane Silk volumizes lips and smooths fine lines around your mouth and lasts about six months.  Restylane Refyne softens nasolabial folds and can last up to a year.  Restylane Defyne fills deep wrinkles and folds, lasting up to a year.  Restylane Lyft, formerly called Perlane, is used for cheeks and hands; off-label, it can be used for a nonsurgical nose job. Results can last 10–18 months.   Belotero is a hyaluronic acid-based filler that is utilized for sensitive regions such as the under-eye area. It's also used to fill in tiny lines like lip lines, cheek lines, and horizontal necklines all over the face and neck. The effects persist for around six months.

Our OC Beauty Medspa practitioner will first review your face structure with you, as well as the appropriate type of filler for your objectives and any dangers. Once you've chosen a filler, we'll clean the area and, if necessary, administer a topical anesthetic (most fillers contain lidocaine already). Fillers can last anywhere from six months to more than a year, depending on which one you get, how much your doctor uses, and how quickly your body metabolizes it.    if you have a fast metabolism, you may notice that the filler goes away sooner. On the bright side, after two to three rounds of injections, you will notice it will last longer and longer.

Dermal fillers are generally regarded safe, although they might have adverse effects.
