A stretch mark is what?
Stretch marks are most likely visible if you observe long, thin strips of pale or darker skin poking through your regular skin tone. These stains can show up all over the body. Stretch marks can develop when tissue grows too quickly for our skin to adjust.
Unfortunately, both our male and female patients are concerned about stretch marks. Although there is nothing harmful about these parallel lines on the skin, many individuals find them ugly and are unhappy when they appear. We can assist you if you battle with ugly stretch marks on your breasts, stomach, or extremities. What choices exist for treatment?
Microneedling + Rich Plasma
A mechanical device with a cartridge containing a number of small needles that pierce the top layers of the skin is used to administer microneedling therapy. Stretch marks that are evident are quickly reduced when paired with Platelet Rich Plasma .
Through the "micro channels" that the small needles make in the skin, different serums or your own Platelet Rich Plasma can be given. These "micro injuries" encourage the skin to manufacture new collagen by replacing the cartilaginous fibers that have been damaged by the microneedling procedure with new ones.
Your own Platelet Rich Plasma may be administered to the treated region after microneedling. The procedure harvests autologous growth factors necessary for skin regeneration and collagen remodeling. The healing and repair processes are sped up by these growth factors because they enter the microchannels made during the microneedling procedure.
Stretch mark eradication is made possible by the combination of microneedling and PRP, which offers your skin an additional stimulus to increase collagen formation while also using nutrient-rich platelets.
CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
Stretch mark treatment with fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing is another alternative that works well. The deepest layer of your skin, where collagen is generated, is penetrated by a laser during laser skin resurfacing. As a result, the outer layers of the skin look better and are motivated to produce more collagen. You'll feel fast, brief bursts of laser energy during the treatment. The length of the visit will typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
Radiofrequency Microneedling
Specially insulated needles are used in radiofrequency (RF) microneedling to deliver intense RF radiation to the intended tissues. This not only leads to a longer, more thorough therapy but also shortens the recovery period.
Stretch marks result from the tearing away of the skin's deeper layers, stretching and displacing the upper dermis. By encouraging the regeneration of collagen and elastin fibers, RF microneedling aids in the reconstruction of those layers.
